Gionee, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has added
another member to its F (Fashion) series family. The company has launched the
new F103 Pro and has expanded its smartphone portfolio. It is pretty obvious
that the F 103 Pro is the improved version of the F103 which was launched last
year in September. The phone is priced at Rs. 11,999 and will be available on
Gionee’s official India Website and on various retail stores as well. The
streak of introducing new phones is continuing as company has recently launched
its high-end device S6 pro in China as well. F103 Pro is the company’s first
‘Make in India’ device and comes with a 5 inch HD 2.5 D curved display with a screen
resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The display also comes with Dragontrail Glass
protection to save the screen from scratches. The device, as it is a part of
the ‘F’ series boasts a metal frame design. The device offers VoLTE and runs on
Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with company’s Amigo 3.2 UI.
Under the hood, the phone comes with 1.3 GHz quad core processor
which is integrated with 3 GB RAM. Also on board is 16 GB internal storage
which can be expanded up to 128 GB by using a MicroSD card. The device accepts
dual SIMS and comes with a 13 megapixel primary camera plus a 5 megapixel front
camera. The F103 Pro comes with 2300 mAh battery which provides 20 hours of
talk time and 470 hours of standby time. On the connectivity front the Gionee
F103 Pro supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB, GPS, OTG, and microUSB
2.0 port. The device which is available in White, Gold and Grey colour options,
weighs 143 grams and measures 145.3×70.5×8.5mm.
